His leadership and teamwork concepts have been recognized by the Washington Post on Leadership, reaching thousands of leaders and companies in over 70 countries.

Inspired to describe the power of teamwork in novel ways, Chris utilized his leadership and mushing experiences to create a contemporary tale, Iditarod Leadership, in which the lives of three business leaders converge, each at vastly different checkpoints within their own careers: a young sales producer eager to make his mark, a seasoned executive struggling with burnout and meaning, and a consultant coming to grips with the reality that leading a team is more difficult that producing personal results. Their paths, while different, have led them to the northern reaches of the western hemisphere and an Alaskan wilderness adventure. Here, they will test their limitations and learn what it takes to mush a team of dogs while facing the brutal elements of unforgiving weather and rugged terrain.

Chris received his Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting from The University of Texas, Arlington. He has earned many awards, including the Million Dollar Club, with three different organizations and has pioneered several startups. His diversity of experience across cultures and organizations of all sizes yields valuable, best practice insights.

For leisure, Chris enjoys scuba, skiing, fishing, and music, and has participated in skydiving, car and motorcycle racing, Alaskan dog mushing, and even alligator-population control. Chris lives in North Texas with his wife, Robin. Of their four children, two boys have proudly served their country.
