I just have to go on record and say how fantastic these AGFA events are! I attended Saturday's 550-minute/5-movie horror marathon along with 300 of my closest balding/low-ponytailed nerd friends, consumed no fewer than 4,000 calories in 9 hours, proceeded teetering and stiff-legged out the door and into the darkness and general direction of my car afterward, then eagerly promised myself a return trip just as soon as physically able. I am happy to report I virtually fasted the last two days and have lost the eight pounds I gained on Saturday Image result for happy face emoji

They are a wildly gluttonous movie affair, the sort recounted in delicate whispers by shady fraternity members of an undiscovered secret society thriving only in the catacombs, yet far more fun than all that hazing nonsense of yesteryear.

If you love off the beaten path movies produced from mysterious, vaulty archives curated by a trio of film geeks extraordinaire, and don't mind eating your bodyweight like the darkest of mushrooms committed to only high sugar content and processed foods, then these absurd AGFA marathons are calling your name.

Not your child's, but yours.
