Movie 3 of 12, "Reversal."

Well made, but wow—that was pretty rough. What begins as a vengeance thriller, wrought by his most recent detainee who escapes, proves to be a long-tailed ride that goes deep, deep, deep into a human-trafficking spider hole.

Bleak, because these things are happening all around us.

Fortunately, however, in this case, she—the protagonist, "Eve"—gets to do some serious Dirty Harrying before all is said and done, and her poor .357 is tired and smokin' by movie's end.

Hooray for the heroine and those she WAS able to save.

The director was a no-show for his Q&A afterward, which was, in part, disappointing, but also a bit of a relief.
